The service

These terms cover the Caption Copy iPhone app, the Android app, and the website at captioncopy.pages.dev, all operated by TQ Tech. Caption Copy helps you copy caption, title, and description text from public post links you provide. It does not download videos or media, post on your behalf, or require a TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube account.

Trademark & affiliation

Caption Copy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, ByteDance, Meta, or Google. Those names are trademarks of their respective owners. Caption Copy does not log in to those services or download videos.

Acceptable use

Only submit links to content you are allowed to view. Do not use the app to violate platform terms, scrape at scale, or build a caption database. Private, deleted, or unsupported posts may fail to load.

Pricing

Caption Copy is free. On Android, ads may include native, interstitial, rewarded, and app-open ads. On iPhone, ads may include interstitial and app-open ads.

You can optionally buy a one-time “Remove ads” purchase (USD $4.99, or the local price on the App Store or Play Store). On iPhone it is an Apple in-app purchase named Remove ads forever. Restore it on the same Apple Account from the paywall or Settings. On Android it is a Google Play purchase. Restore it on the same Play account from the paywall. It is not a subscription: it does not auto-renew, and there is nothing to cancel. Apple or Google handles payment and refunds. TQ Tech does not receive your card number.

License

TQ Tech grants you a personal, non-exclusive license to use Caption Copy. You may not copy the app, resell it, or use it to scrape captions at scale. The iPhone app is also licensed under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Captions are returned as-is from public post metadata. We do not guarantee completeness for every link. The app is provided “as is” without warranties. To the extent allowed by law, TQ Tech is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
